I recently celebrated a milestone birthday, and I’ve been getting a lot of questions—how do I have so much energy? How am I able to move with (mostly) no pain? The short answer: I’ve been incredibly blessed. Honestly, much of my well-being feels like grace—sometimes in spite of my own choices. I know that health isn’t guaranteed, even when we do everything “right,” but I also believe that the decisions I make today can impact how I feel tomorrow.
As a steward of this body I’ve been given, I want to become more intentional about how I care for it—physically, mentally, and spiritually.
So, I’m inviting you to join me on a personal wellness experiment. I’ll be exploring how food, movement, rest, and faith all work together to support a vibrant, balanced life. That might sound like a lot, but in reality, it’s just thousands of small choices made one at a time. And yes, sometimes the right choice will be doing the easy thing—or saying yes to something that might not be technically “healthy” but feeds the soul and honors relationships. I will absolutely say yes to Nutella crepes with family or friends!
Every good choice matters. And over time, those little steps add up—to a stronger, healthier, more joyful version of me (and maybe of you, too).
Love,
Ruth
